The aim of the project is to transform an old private institutional building into a modern office building located in the old town of Madrid, which would be attractive to young companies interested in this type of location.
To achieve this, two main interventions are proposed; on the one hand, to enhance interior natural lighting by creating open and light-permeable spaces, enlarging the courtyards and opening up the facade openings to the street as much as possible. On the other hand, an interior design concept with its own personality is proposed, based on the chromatic contrast of black and white and the use of noble materials and basic geometric shapes that differentiate it from conventional offices, achieving elegant and bright spaces, pleasant and comfortable for workers and surprising for visitors.
