The project is located on a prime corner of Madrid’s Malasaña neighborhood, in a building with a facade and staircase of significant historical and artistic value, highly representative of the architecture and urban planning of the late 19th century in Madrid. The owner’s objective was to renovate the building and improve its common areas, adapting it to current needs. The project proposes specific actions that seek to consolidate the building and provide it with better accessibility, through the installation of a new glass elevator in the staircase and the transformation of the access portal. In addition, all general facilities are modified and renovated, and the facades and roof are rehabilitated and restored, always preserving the original character of the building.
