This temporary space designed for Casa Decor draws inspiration from the work of Anni Albers, one of the most influential textile artists of the 20th century, who reinterpreted traditional weaving through the design principles of the Bauhaus movement.
The concept translates the visual and geometric richness of weaving into interior architecture, creating a ceramic carpet that extends across the floor and climbs the walls like a tapestry in progress, forming an abstract composition inspired by Albers’ work.
Through a combination of ceramic finishes and openwork panels set against painted surfaces, the design recreates the interplay of warp and weft found in traditional weaving, transforming a functional space into an experience where art, materials, and design come together.
