Velázquez XXI is a renovation project of an early 20th-century townhouse located on one of the most representative corners of Madrid’s Salamanca district, between Jorge Juan and Velázquez streets.
The intervention enhances a highly protected building, recognizable for its dome, brick façade with glazed galleries, and interior courtyards, restoring its distinguished residential character through a contemporary approach.
The new program comprises 10 homes and retail spaces, organized across 8,700 m², with spaces that prioritize natural light, spatial clarity, and continuity between the historic and the contemporary.
Velázquez XXI represents a respectful and timeless renovation, where the original architecture is reactivated to respond to today’s needs for urban living.
